JBL Charge 3 Portable Speaker Out of Box Experience

#DareToListen
JBL has always been a brand that is synonymous to great audio experience, and I get to experience it everyday at work. Now I even got to take one home.
So I have been working as customer support - tech for Harman for almost a year now. You might ask, Harman? Yes, Harman.
Harman International Industries, Inc. (or simply called as Harman) is an American subsidiary of Samsung Group that designs and engineers connected products for automakers, consumers and enterprises worldwide, including connected car systems; audio and visual products, enterprise automation; and connected services. Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, Harman maintains major operations in the Americas, Europe, as well as Asia and markets its products under more than twenty brands — including AKG Acoustics, AMX, Crown Audio, Harman/Kardon, Infinity, JBL, JBL Professional, Lexicon, dbx, DigiTech, Mark Levinson, Martin, Revel, Soundcraft, Studer, ARCAM, and BSS Audio
On November 14, 2016, Harman entered into an agreement to be acquired by South Korean company Samsung Electronics. The sale was completed on March 10, 2017. [1]
Everyday, we get to work with customers and their speakers to help them out in whatever tech issue they may be having. We had a raffle at the office to win different products from different brands and I was not expecting to get this speaker. It's been about 2 weeks now and I'm still giddy that I won this speaker. This is so totally my year.

What did I get?

JBL Charge 3 is a waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker and power bank that delivers powerful stereo sound. Its high-capacity 6000mAh battery gives 20 hours of playtime and can charge your smartphones and tablets via USB. Noise and echo-cancelling speakerphone ensures crystal clear calls. Wirelessly link multiple JBL Connect-enabled speakers to amplify your listening experience. [2]

PRODUCT FEATURES:

I am not going to get into much of any tech reviews or this speaker because this has been out for a few years now. But speaker from a consumers point of view this small gadget (well not as small as the Flip speakers) packs a punch - it's small enough not to be cumbersome (I just think the JBL Xtreme is too big for me but I would have loved the Flip 3/4 becasue it is smaller) and the sound is loud and clear. It's perfect for parties indoors and outdoors. I also love the fact that it comes with or is a powerbank (charge..pun intended).

I just love this speaker and I'd love to thank our bosses here in the Philippines and in the US for giving these to us. So if you are planning on buying portable speakers or headphones make sure to consider JBL and the other brands under Harman. It's worth it.
