I love getting mail. From my penpals before and now in getting subscription boxes. Last August I won my very first Pagehabit Subscription Box when I became a Pagey Master. I have then won one more subscription box when Pagehabit did a little giveaway. I don't remember if I've already mentioned how obsessed I am in getting free books in the mail. So now you guys now how much of a fan girl I am about this. Hehehe.
So as usual I picked the YA Book Box this September (give me a break, I love YA). And here is what I got:
- Exclusive letter by the Author ~ it's a little bit crumpled because I didn't notice it got a little stuck on the flap of the box.
- Donation in support of children's literacy ~ This specific box donates to Togo
- Delightful bookish goods ~ Aside from the book this is what I've been waiting to get. The September box came with a Comic pin (I've wanted pins like this for years), a Deathly Hollows key chain, and a Time Traveler patch (I need jeans to put this on..hihi).
- Bonus curated YA short story from acclaimed authors *NEW*, a PageHabit bookmark, and a Cat (or Fox?) Coaster.
- A new release YA hardcover
Bird of the Black Gallows
by Meg Kassel
Hardcover, 300 pages
Published September 5th 2017 by Entangled: Teen
ISBN1633758141 (ISBN13: 978-1633758148)
A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.
Angie Dovage can tell there’s more to Reece Fernandez than just the tall, brooding athlete who has her classmates swooning, but she can’t imagine his presence signals a tragedy that will devastate her small town. When something supernatural tries to attack her, Angie is thrown into a battle between good and evil she never saw coming. Right in the center of it is Reece―and he’s not human.
What's more, she knows something most don't. That the secrets her town holds could kill them all. But that’s only half as dangerous as falling in love with a harbinger of death.
- Handwritten notes from the author ~ The last book had the notes inside the pages and not showing. I like the character these annotations sticking out shows.

And that folks is my unboxing of my Pagehabit September YA Book Box. I just can't stop looking at it. It's sooo pretty. My next project will be local book subscription boxes here in the Philippines.

Wait one sec. I did say in the title ...and more. I actually got another book package but not a subscription box. I was planning to include the unboxing here but I felt that book and the Author deserve their own post.
